FAQs
Websites:
Why
do I need a website and what can it do for me?
This question has many answers. It truly depends on your
goals and expectations for your website. Some questions
to ask yourself are:
1.
Who is your customer, your target audience? Are they professional
people? Are they stay-at-home moms, etc.
2.
Do you plan to sell any products or services through your
website?
3.
Or do you just want an online presence so that you have
a resource for clients and customers?
How long does it take to design and develop a website?
This
depends on the complexity of the project. Such as if this
will be an eCommerce site, if there will be database driven
pages, if there is any Flash animation, etc. A timeline
will be presented to the client for each individual project.
How
much control does the client have over how the website looks?
The
client has complete control as to what the website will
look like. ALL ideas and suggestions are welcome. You may
have ideas such as the color scheme, you may like other
websites for various reasons, or you may have an existing
logo that you want to be branded into the website. Initial
design concepts will be presented for review, then tweaked
down from there. The client gives FINAL approval on the
design concept before the website is actually built out.
